Ordination

Those interested in Licensure and/or Ordination should contact the Exam Committee Clerk. Our goal is to present you before KSWOC Presbytery as a man ready to gain the respect and confidence of Presbytery as one suitable for Gospel ministry.

Please fill out the following forms:

Please send the following to the Stated Clerk:

A) An official, signed copy of your new call.

This call should be formatted with the correct language from the BCO (Appendix J) and include details regarding yearly vacation and study leave, in addition to salary and benefits being offered.

B) College Diploma(s) and Seminary Diploma(s)

C) Submit Internship Requirements (KSWOC Presbytery)

D) Recommendation Letter Forms (KSWOC Presbytery)

Papers and Exams

A) Subjects: Bible Contents, Church History, Greek and Hebrew, Systematic Theology, Sacraments, Exegetical Paper, Theological Paper, Sermon, PCA BCO, and Oral Exam

B) The sermon manuscript must also be submitted with your sermon audio. (Length: 30 minutes).

Please follow the guidelines for all papers:

1) Front cover: Include title, name, and date

2) Bind it with the page number

3) Include footnotes, bibliography, and proper grammar

4) Must show PCA/Reformed understanding of theology

5) Font size: 12, Length: 15 pages, Spacing: Double

In accordance with BCO 21, you will be examined by the Examination Committee.
